This is a Coppercube shader extension that will enhance the lighting and material quality of your CopperCube objects. Below are the features this shader action provides you.

  • Controllable Specular gloss
  • Controllable Specular strength
  • Auto grab light nodes from the scene
  • Ambient color 
  • Diffuse color
  • Specular color
  • Individual Light intensity (attenuation)
  • Individual Light color
  • Toggle to turn off specularity
  • Work with both animated and static 3D object
  • Uses the default point light data for light color and strength
  •  Supports Fog


Limitations:-

  • Only point lights can be used.
  • The object to which the shader is applied will not be able to receive real-time shadows. However other objects in your scene that don't use this shader will still be able to use shadows.
  • This will not work with CC's inbuilt terrain and water nodes.
  • Sometimes normal maps might show artifacts.

You will also get sample files for all the images that you see on your right along with this shader, to get an idea of how to set it up for different kinds of models. Hope you will like this shader. Newer versions may have source only and no demos, You can however download the version with the demos and can apply for the latest shader extension on them.

Note:- This shader will only work on the DirectX platform, which means it will have no use on webGL and Android Target and will work on Windows and macOS DirectX targets only.

More Demo files and a Usage tutorial will be uploaded to YouTube very soon. Also there is no Emission Map support for the current version a different version of the same Shader will have Emmision map support too.

How can I see examples of this shader? I looked on your channel and couldn't find it, can you give me some more examples?

Hi there as the shader is based on Light Shader V1.4, it also has the same bug that affects the performance so I don’t recommend purchasing it.

For the Exampls, you can checkout my Discord server for the Shaders Channel, there I shared some unlisted youtube videos of the shader in action.

It seems you are more into Visual novels and other things, there is already an easy-to-use Visual Novels plugin that you can use to easily create a good storyline along with the dialogue conversations and choices. You can check that out.

Could you script a WebGL version too?

nope, unfotunately my knowledge to webGL GLSL shader is limited, I can script HLSL shaders only.
